My new chapter in life begins.
I had thought of leaving my desk job in digital media for the longest time, and though its dynamic environment is something I enjoy, there were times more often that not that I’d feel jaded by the glitter and glory. Sure, online bling-bling is fascinating and brings in lots of kudos, praises and hanging around with the cool kids, but at the end of the day the superficial world, budgets and deadlines didn’t sing to my heart at all.
I couldn’t help but listen to the inner voice that kept saying, “what about life?”
Make that, a really LOUD voice.
Loud enough to wake an entire village up.
I’ve been toying with the idea of a sea change – a complete switch from something fast-paced to… a life dedicated to slowing down.
Slow down to smell the flowers.
Slow down to enjoy the little things in life, in a big way.
Slow down to hear the whispers in the wind and feel the sun on your face.
Slow down to heal, to get well, to get strong.
Slow down to live, laugh, and love.
And so The Slow Yogi was born.
